Who we are

Robot Fitter is a trading name of Project Forward Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16873528. Registered office: 19 Landseer Way, Leeds, LS13 2TU. We are the data controller for the details you give us on this website.

What we collect

When you join our list, we collect:

• your email address
• your name, if you give it
• anything you choose to tell us in the optional message box
• your answers to our optional questions: which robot you're interested in, when you might get one, and which services you'd pay for
• if you take our robot-ready check and then join the list, your answers to it (the check itself runs on your device and sends nothing unless you join)
• which page you signed up on

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't identify you. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

One-click questions

Some pages ask a quick question, such as whether you'd pay for a service. If you tap an answer, we store only the answer, the question, the page and the time. We don't store anything that identifies you, and the answer isn't linked to your email even if you join the list. Our system uses your IP address briefly, in memory only, to stop abuse; it isn't saved.

How we use it

When you first join, we send you one welcome email, with our printable checklist and, if you took our robot-ready check, a copy of your answers. After that, we use your details to email you about Robot Fitter and the home robots coming to the UK: what's arriving, when, and what our planned services will cost. We use your message and answers to understand what people want, so we can decide which services to offer. If needed, we'll reply.

We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Our lawful basis

We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the list. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who handles it for us

Your sign-up is processed by our own sign-up system, which runs on Google Cloud (Firebase). Emails are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides our analytics and forwards emails sent to [email protected] to our team's inbox. These providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, it's protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or by emailing [email protected].

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the details we hold about you
• correct details that are wrong
• delete your details
• stop or restrict how we use them

Email [email protected] to make a request. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page.
